Has anyone found a really, REALLY good hand cream that isn't oily and doesn't wash off?

I prefer products not tested on animals. Have tried so many different ones, but nothing works really well.Has anyone found a really, REALLY good hand cream that isn't oily and doesn't wash off?
Don't use anything with mineral oil in it (ever) on your skin.

Contrary to what people believe this is actually very bad for you and your skin. AKA baby oil, petroleum (vaseline).

It's cheap - [if you take a saltine cracker and place it in 1/4 cup of baby oil] it hardens if you take a cracker and place it in

water it absorbs - and is soft.

I think corn huskers makes a very good lotion my husband suffers from horrible dry skin (fingers are cracked) so we've been through a ton of lotions -

It's clear with a yellow top - and oil free.Has anyone found a really, REALLY good hand cream that isn't oily and doesn't wash off?
Hand cream is made to wash off with soap and water or to simply wear off or soak in and disappear. If it didn't, the company would be sued by people trying to hold on to things and dropping them on a foot .. or not being able to stand up and hold on to things to keep from falling.. like walker people.

Maybe your best treatment for your hands would be at night with lotion and little cotton gloves to keep the lotion close to your skin longer. Its been a longtime favorite treatment in my family. We get dry hands in the winter from cold weather, and wearing little cotton gloves on treated hands is actually very comforting and the treatment lasts much longer.

I hope this offers even a little solution for you, as it works with any lotion so you could go with the one you like best. :)
for me curell is the best...
You probably won't find one that isn't oily, because that's what an emolient is. It's an oil that slows and stops the moisture from leaving your skin.

You can experiment with a couple of different things.

I have found that pure glycerin or baby oil are the absolute best moisturizers.

You should be able to buy pure glycerin or baby oil at Walgreens or Wal-Mart.
